The name "Castillo de Canena" originates from the family castle nestled in the hills of the township of Canena, in Spain’s Jaen province in the region of Andalusia. The family-owned olive trees cover the lovely irrigated farmland which yields the highest quality extra virgin olive oil of classic olive varietals such as the Picual. In peaceful, quiet surroundings, the olive trees are irrigated with the waters of the Guadiana Menor River that flows along the family property.

With an olive-producing history dating back to 1780, it would be a shame not to try this most remarkable Spanish olive oil!
