Cooking time: 10 minutes.
Peel and devein the shrimp. Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear the shrimp in the hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. As soon as they become golden, add the honey and let the mixture turn golden. Add the soy sauce and sesame seeds, lower the heat and simmer for 2 minutes basting the shrimp.
Serve warm as a mezze or as a main course with steamed white rice or sautéed Asian noodles.
