One of the classic sauces of Italian cooking, O&CO.’s pesto is made with fresh basil, Olive Oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese and pine nuts, with no additives or preservatives. It is generally attributed to the Liguria region of Northern Italy, specifically the city of Genoa.
Uses: toss with pasta, spread on grilled chicken and fish, on a tomato and mozzarella sandwich, baked or boiled potatoes, or as a garnish for tomato soup.
