Green Tomato Confiture
Prepared in France according to a traditional recipe. First, the fruits are selected carefully, at peak ripeness. They are cooked gently with pure cane sugar in small copper cauldrons, under constant supervision. Slow cooking insures that the natural flavor of the fruit is retained in the finished product. A unique and delicious preserve.
Uses: spread on toasted bread for breakfast, serve with cheese, as a relish for grilled chicken, pork roast, even as a topping for vanilla ice cream or sorbet.
