Castello Di Poppiano Olive Oil 2016
Because of the suitability of the terroir, many olive oil producers in the Tuscan region also bottle wine. Castello di Poppiano is one such place. At its apex, Poppiano is possibly the best olive oil in the world. Harvested late in the season from November to December, the olives are allowed to reach peak ripeness to produce a warm and aromatic olive oil.
Each year, O&CO. selects the best of the best from top olive oil producers around the world for its collection of Rameaux d'Or (Golden Bottles). Poppiano makes the list again this year, as the 2016 harvest was a true treasure, one of the most sublime olive oils ever produced on the estate.
