The name "Castillo de Canena" originates from the family castle nestled in the hills of the township of Canena, in Spain’s Jaen province in the region of Andalusia. The family-owned olive trees cover the lovely irrigated farmland which yields the highest quality extra virgin olive oil of classic olive varietals such as the Picual. With an olive-producing history dating back to 1780, it would be a shame not to try this most remarkable Spanish olive oil!
