Citrus Fruits with Lemon Olive Oil


  • 3 oranges
  • 3 grapefruits
  • 2 tbsp. candied lemon peel, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp. O&CO. Lemon or Green Lemon Specialty Olive Oil
  • 10 fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp. light brown sugar


  1. Peel the oranges and grapefruit and remove the pith, then separate into segments and remove any remaining white skin.
  2. Quickly sauté the slices of lemon peel and the orange and grapefruit segments in olive oil for no longer than 1 minute.
  3. Place the citrus segments in a salad bowl, add the fresh mint and mix gently. Top with lemon olive oil and sprinkle with light brown sugar.
  4. Chill at least an hour before serving. Garnish with lemon zest and serve.
