Cod Fish Wrapped with Bacon
Ingredients
- 4 cod fish fillets
- 4 strips bacon
- 4 tbsp. O&CO. Mantinea & Avia Olive Oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp. Premium Balsamic Vinegar
- 4 tbsp. white wine
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 4 tsp. soy sauce
Directions
- Cut bacon and cod fillets in half.
- Slice garlic cloves.
- Wrap each cut fillet of cod with bacon.
- In a frying pan, heat olive oil and sliced garlic.
- Heat over medium heat and cook garlic until brown.
- Take them out of the frying pan, set aside.
For Sauce
- In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, white wine, honey and soy sauce. Mix well.
- Place cod seam side down in the same frying pan.
- Cook over medium heat until fishes are cooked.
- Add sauce to the frying pan, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Place fish on the plate, pour remaining sauce from frying pan over fish and top with sliced garlic.
