Cod Fish Wrapped with Bacon


  • 4 cod fish fillets
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 4 tbsp. O&CO. Mantinea & Avia Olive Oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp.  Premium Balsamic Vinegar
  • 4 tbsp. white wine
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 4 tsp. soy sauce


  1. Cut bacon and cod fillets in half.
  2. Slice garlic cloves.
  3. Wrap each cut fillet of cod with bacon.
  4. In a frying pan, heat olive oil and sliced garlic.
  5. Heat over medium heat and cook garlic until brown. 
  6. Take them out of the frying pan, set aside.

For Sauce

  1. In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, white wine, honey and soy sauce. Mix well.
  2. Place cod seam side down in the same frying pan. 
  3. Cook over medium heat until fishes are cooked.
  4. Add sauce to the frying pan, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Place fish on the plate, pour remaining sauce from frying pan over fish and top with sliced garlic.
