Toasted Farmhouse Bread

A simple yet decadent starter that can be prepared in minutes.  Add a handful of dressed greens and this open-faced crusty bread sandwich becomes a filling and colorful lunch!

Toasted Farmhouse Bread

Serves 4



Toast the bread.  Slice 4 pieces of fennel with a mandolin or knife.  Rub the slices of bread with the clove of garlic, then spread with Oliviers&Co. Black Olive & Sundried Tomato Tapenade.  Cover each slice with the slices of ham, fennel and Parmesan, followed by the romaine stalks.  Season with Oliviers&Co. Salt From Camargue, freshly ground pepper to taste and finish with a drizzle of your favorite Oliviers&Co. Olive Oil.  Serve immediately.
