Toasted Farmhouse Bread
Serves 4
- Ingredients:
- 2 jars (7 oz.) O&CO. Black Olive & Sundried Tomato Tapenade
- 4 slices of farmhouse bread
- 1 fennel bulb
- 1 clove of garlic, peeled
- 12 slices of air-cured ham
- 12 Parmesan shavings
- 12 romaine-lettuce stalks
- O&CO. Fleur de Sel
- Freshly ground pepper
- O&CO. Grassy Olive Oil
Instructions:
Toast the bread. Slice 4 pieces of fennel with a mandolin or knife. Rub the slices of bread with the clove of garlic, then spread with O&CO. Black Olive & Sundried Tomato Tapenade. Cover each slice with the slices of ham, fennel and Parmesan, followed by the romaine stalks. Season with O&CO. Fleur de Sel, freshly ground pepper to taste and finish with a drizzle of your favorite O&CO. olive oil. Serve immediately.
