Pork Satay

Our version of pork satay is delcious and super easy to make. The cilantro gives this dish a nice freshness and the ketchup adds a surprisingly sweet yet complex glaze that puts any barbeque sauce to shame! It can either be cooked in a skillet or grilled on your barbecue. Use any extra ketchup as a dipping sauce. Yum!

Pork Satay with O&CO. Ketchup & Cilantro

Serves 4-6

Rinse and coursely chop the cilantro.

Cut the pork tenderloin into 1-inch cubes and thread onto 12 short skewers.  Season with O&CO. Everyday Olive Oil,  O&CO. Fleur de Sel and freshly ground black pepper.

Heat the O&CO. Everyday Olive Oil in a large skillet and sear the skewered pork until nicely browned on all sides. This can also be done on the grill.

Mix together the honey and soy sauce and baste the pork skewers over medium heat for about 20 minutes, basting continually with the cooking juices to carmelize the meat.  Remove from pan and place on serving plate.

While still hot, coat with O&CO. Ketchup and a generous sprinkling of chopped cilantro.
