Honey Truffle Grilled Cheese


  • 1 Brioche loaf, sliced (can substitute Challah or any good peasant style bread)
  • Gruyere cheese slices (can substitute any good cheese)
  • Honey
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • O&CO. Truffle Salt


  1. Lay out 4 slices of bread. Cover each slice with cheese slices (2-4 depending on size of slices)
  2. Drizzle each sandwich with a little honey and a pinch of truffle salt. Cover with a slice of bread.
  3. Butter both sides of sandwich with softened butter.
  4. Heat a non-stick fry pan over medium heat. 
  5. When pan is hot, place sandwiches in and cook until golden brown on one side.
  6. Flip over and cook the other side until golden brown.
  7. Remove from heat, slice in half and serve warm. *Makes 4 sandwiches
