Honey Truffle Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 Brioche loaf, sliced (can substitute Challah or any good peasant style bread)
- Gruyere cheese slices (can substitute any good cheese)
- Honey
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- O&CO. Truffle Salt
Directions
- Lay out 4 slices of bread. Cover each slice with cheese slices (2-4 depending on size of slices)
- Drizzle each sandwich with a little honey and a pinch of truffle salt. Cover with a slice of bread.
- Butter both sides of sandwich with softened butter.
- Heat a non-stick fry pan over medium heat.
- When pan is hot, place sandwiches in and cook until golden brown on one side.
- Flip over and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Remove from heat, slice in half and serve warm. *Makes 4 sandwiches
