Originally from Aups in Provence, the Bouteillan olive is the Queen of Provençal olives! It looks like a small plum, is burgundy in color & a little plump & produces an oil with delicate and refined fruity aromas well known to gourmets.
The domain is found at the depths of a long valley – the Vallongue – an ancient route that connected Rome to Spain.
You will appreciate this olive oil with a floral taste profile with notes of banana, candied pineapple, pear.
