Eygalières, Bouches-du-Rhône

The estate located at the bottom of the long valley, the "Vallongue", is an ancient Roman road that connected Rome to Spain. The olive groves situated in the districts of Eygalières and Saint Rémy de Provence count many types of olives: Bouteillan, Salonenque, Aglandau, Grossane, Verdale, Picholine.

Thanks to patience, passion and hard work, François-Xavier Arnihac has been able to exploit the treasures of this land and adapt it to the culture of olive oil.

Terroir & Features

Originally from Aups in Provence, the Bouteillan olive is the Queen of Provençal olives! It looks like a small plum, is burgundy in color and a little plump and produces an oil with delicate and refined fruity aromas well known to gourmets. Also consumed as table olive, it has very well adapted to the valley. La Vallongue estate located in the heart of the Alpilles, a setting of scrubland and rocks, offers this small monovarietal batch of only 800L, which mixes the typicality of the Bouteillan variety and the exceptional soil.
