Tricolore Appetizer


  • 16 oz. fresh goat cheese
  • ½ cup O&CO. Pesto
  • 1 jar O&CO. Black Olive & Pesto Tapenade
  • ¼ cup toasted pine nuts or chopped walnuts
  • O&CO. Basil Specialty Oil 
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish


  1. Soften goat cheese until spreadable.  
  2. Line a medium-size bowl with plastic wrap, spread 1/3 of the goat cheese into bottom.  
  3. Spread pesto over layer, followed by another 1/3 of goat cheese. 
  4. Spread Tapenade over layer, followed by remaining goat cheese.  
  5. Cover surface with plastic wrap and chill until firm.  
  6. Remove plastic wrap from top and turn out onto serving platter; peel off the rest of the plastic wrap and smooth surface with a butter knife dipped in warm water if necessary. 
  7. Garnish with nuts and a drizzle of basil oil and fresh basil leaves.  
  8. Serve with crackers.
